2014 – The year of the horse
Celebrating Chinese New Year is all about paying off your debts and resolving any conflicts you might have from the previous year. Its a much healthier way of looking at the year ahead, unlike Western cultures where January is a dreaded month of giving up everything we enjoy!
If you didn't manage to stick to your new years resolutions this month, celebrate Chinese New Year and be granted a fresh start. If you're going to any parties or celebrating in any way, make sure you look the part....
Red, pink and purple are colours traditionally used around Chinese new year. Whistle & Wolf are on trend for 2014! A sneak peak of our prints can be seen in the bottom right picture. For now, our horses in love dress could have been made for this occasion. Its £14 in the sale so you don't have to worry about breaking your financial resolutions, and is in a traditional Chinese jade colour.
If you prefer something floral, our embroidered neckline dress is also in the sale at £10 and also comes in black.
The blossom tailored dress will be available to buy next week for £65
People born in the year of the horse have ingenious communicating techniques and in their community they always want to be in the limelight. They are clever, kind to others, and like to join in a venture career. Although they sometimes talk too much, they are cheerful, perceptive, talented, earthy but stubborn. They like entertainment and large crowds. They are popular among friends, active at work and refuse to be reconciled to failure, although their endeavor cannot last indefinitely.
Happy New Year!
