Whistle & Wolf love East London, not only because our head offices are here, but because of the endless possibilities for our Friday night adventures! Cocktails are the best way to welcome the weekend...

After a long week, and right in the middle of trade show season, tonight we will be treating ourselves to an evening at Through the Looking Glass on Hackney Road.

Meet at the front for a quiet drink (often served in a teacup!) or book a table at the back and head through the secret wall to a more lively bar. For £10 we enjoy the 1850's Old Man. The charming story of the drink's inspiration is enough to inspire a new Whistle & Wolf print. Maybe cocktails at the office are a good idea after all...

The Lobby Bar at newly opened Ace Hotel on Shoreditch High Street is the current place to be seen for the fashion tribe. Spend the day working on your laptop in the relaxed atmosphere before spending the night drinking cocktails and craft beers to live DJs.

My personal favourite is Paper Dress Vintage. During the day it is a vintage boutique, with some real treasures (and its not one of those places where you have to look really really hard to find something you actually want). During the day you can browse the clothes whilst sipping a mocha, or catch up with your friends over a cup of tea and brownie. The venue also hosts exciting evening classes including an evening fashion drawing session. At night it is transformed into a retro cocktail bar, five stars from the Whistle & Wolf team!
