Less than a day to go! Here are some last minute tips and essential wardrobe/backpack must haves...

Coachella is known for its outstanding line up, and festival goers will have the pleasure of seeing some of today’s most popular artists as well as some emerging talent. Spread over the next two weekends, we will be seeing performances from the likes of Haim, Laura Mvula, Lana Del Rey and AlunaGeorge. Not only are they fantastic entertainers, but a huge influence on festival fashion culture.  This blog takes a look at how to style our favourite Whistle & Wolf looks as well as 5 lovely bloggers top festival tips.

This look teams feminine florals with fierce studs and leather. The juxtaposition of leather, tassels and printed chiffon creates a relaxed textured look with hints of colour, making sure you stand out in the crowds!

As a girl, there are many things we have to remember when at a festival, and we learn something new each year... I had a lot of fun researching top tips for girls at Festivals as some people have so many hilarious stories! Here are some of my favourite survival notes..

1. Do it right and you’re so dehydrated by the last day you don’t even need to visit those toilets

Dry shampoo was obviously invented not only by a genius but also by a woman who attended a weekend festival. If you have thin hair that becomes lank and yuk looking then invest in some dry shampoo. All you do is spray it in and brush your hair. It really gives it a bit of a lift. The other option is wearing a beautiful hat. This is the option I usually take as I have very thick hair and am very forgetful. Don’t wear your hat from day one though otherwise you will have hat hair from the beginning.

Tent : Pop up ones are fantastic, just take it down a few times before you bring it to a festival. It’s an arduous challenge!

If I were going to a festival for a few days or away camping, I'd curl my hair with my conical wand on the morning that I left.  I wouldn't be washing my hair while I was away so with a bit of hairspray the curls would stay in and drop to waves over the course of the weekend.

No child left behind -An education campaign gets a whole new meaning at Coachella! Phone service is pretty much non-existent. Keep your friends close and periodically establish meeting points to ensure you don’t get stuck all by your lonesome

Enjoy the festivals!! x
