What we're wearing to Ascot

by Georgina

The season of posh frocks, hats, champagne and betting on horses based on how much you like their name is racing towards us. Ascot is the only occasion every year when we have an excuse to buy a new dress and a hat to match! Here's a reminder of what racegoers wore last year...

Katherine Jenkins opted for an orange dress complimented with a fuchsia hate, Pixie Lott looks sophisticated in a classic vintage inspired floral dress and a statement hat and model Danielle Lineker goes for a ladylike ensemble with a 20's dress, elegant wide brim peppermint blue hat and cream gloves.

We thought we would do a series of blog posts about what the women behind Whistle & Wolf will be wearing this year. First up...

Name: Emma Parker

Job Title: Whistle & Wolf Founder

Favourite Cities: Hong Kong, Miami and London

Favourite music: Devil Doll, Diana Ross, Nouvelle Vagues

Personal Style: Eclectic – my ultimate Ascot outfit would  go to quirky unusual designers for the accessories to set off a dress in a classic understated shape.  I would definitely go for a pair of well made heels on my feet so I could last the day without getting sore tootsies!

My perfect ascot outfit would be:

The Whistle & Wolf blossom print peplum dress with Atsuko Kudo's fascinator hat with a red clutch bag and classic Christian Louboutins.

 1. Dior classic black liquid eyeliner, 2. Whistle & Wolf blossom print peplum dress £65, 3. Christian Louboutin classic red stilettos £395, 4. Shanghai Tang silk knot bag £198, 5. Chanel classic red nail polish, 6. Chanel red lipstick, 7. Atsuko Kudo pin up latex red rose hair piece £57.50
