Last year, Berkhamsted welcomed the arrival of a new shopping destination, Miss C Boutique, and we’re thrilled to name them as one of our stockists! Miss C was born out of the desire to solve a fashion problem; owner Charlotte Pyecroft had looked at her local area and realised that while there were a few boutiques around, they were catering solely to an older clientele or were only offering designer brands. What creators Charlotte and Steve wanted to offer was a range of clothing from exciting labels that you couldn’t always find on the high street – and at affordable prices. They launched Miss C Boutique first as an online store and then opened up shop on Berkhamsted High Street in November 2013.
Miss C Boutique focuses on keeping their customers up to date with a constant change of stock, meaning that no shopping experience is the same - so you'll keep coming back! This also means that the selections are bang on trend, with the latest collections quickly arriving in store for you to snap up. On top of that, there are only 6-8 pieces available of each item, meaning you can be sure that you won’t be bumping into someone wearing the same outfit as you – a nightmare that’s all too familiar if you’re only shopping at the high street giants. With customers ranging in age from 18 to 60, Miss C has been able to introduce a whole new market to some really wonderful brands.
As we move into the middle of August, working out how to transition between your summer and autumn wardrobes is the new focus. Here’s a demonstration of our Drawn Floral Dress and some Miss C Boutique pieces styled for a summer evening, which can easily be updated for the colder months: simply add black tights, swap sandals for chunky boots and change your make-up from bright lips to smokey eyes. Same colour scheme, different seasons.
So pop into the Berkhamsted shop or check out the collections online - the A/W ranges are about to drop and we can promise some Whistle & Wolf gems, so it’s well worth a visit.
