Dainty Dress Diaries went for tea in Wolf & Whistle

by Wolf and Whistle

Hi everyone,
My name is Catherine and I am from daintydressdiaries.com,  I am a lover of tea dresses and pretty feminine dresses and today I am so pleased to share this look and guest post on the Wolf and Whistle blog.

Last weekend I went for some afternoon tea with my ladies and wanted to wear something lady like but with an edge. As it is now Autumn I am starting to get excited for the strong bold colours, I chose this dress because of the striking orange and the pretty dark flower pattern.

The colour of this dress alone stands out and just pops within the Autumn backdrop.

What I love the most about this dress is the fit, I am petite with a curvy frame so sometimes dresses don’t flatter my shape. All of the dresses I have from Wolf and Whistle flatter my shape and they aren’t too short either, perfect length just on the knee. I love the way these style of dresses nip in on the waist and flow over your hips and thighs and hide any lumps and bumps.

I am loving the strong colours and prints in the new Autumn Winter collection, I also love the lady like flare to them, from midi skirts to dresses but they have that edge of a strong colour or print. They really stand out and I always get asked where my dress is from whenever I wear them.

I went for afternoon tea with the ladies in the gorgeous Ariel house in Dublin. Nothing beats a catch up with friends in a pretty surrounding and if you follow me on Instagram you’ll know my love of pretty china.

I have a little bit of an addiction for floral print, I got so excited when I seen this dress as it can be worn for a daytime look and teamed with a blazer and some pumps, then for night it can be full on glamour with a heel and clutch.

What are your favourite prints and pieces from the new collection?

I would love to hear so comment below in the comments section.
